Cub Scouts are in the age group between 7 and 11 years of age.

Cub Scouts usually run for an hour and a half in the evening. The night comprises of games, activities, badge work and outings. There are special activities organised on the weekends occasionally. These type of activities can include camping, hiking, visits, Billy Cart Derby. These activities are organised by the local Pack(s) or they can be organised by District staff. District organised events are open for all packs to attend. The district events organised for 2007 are as follows:
- February - Attending the Founders activity at Civic Park, Warragul.
- May - Cub Ten Pin Bowling Tournament.
- August - Cub Skit Night. A night of fun put on by the Cubs. Parents and family welcome. The Cubs entertain us with songs and skits.
- October - Billy Cart Derby. This is the highlight of the Cub year. This event is highly competative day, especially the parents race. Everyone is out to beat 1st Mountain Rivers who has scooped the pool for the last two years, winning both the Cubs and Parents trophies.
If your children are interested in joining Cubs, contact your local Group Leader. They will be able to give you all of the details applicable to your local Pack.
Cuboree 2008
Cuboree 2008 is cominig. This is the Cub's equivalent of Jamboree. 3000 Cub's all camping together for five days and four nights of pure fun and entertainment.
